Things not to do in website design for search engine optimization
- Flash intro ( splash page) delays the users from getting their destination.
- A majority of major engines will not index Flash website. Everyone is critical of heavy or slow loading Flash.
Graphical websites
- Search engine spiders can not read text that appears within an image.
- Heavy graphics increase loading time.
- Low quality graphic is critical to the human editor who reviews your site.
Frame website
- Most major engines can not read frames. If you must use frames, include important body text within a <no frames> tag.
- A frame web page consists of several web pages (frames), it takes longer to load than a single HTML page.
JavaScript / JavaScript links

Spiders can't crawl JavaScript and JavaScript links. Spiders can become confused by JavaScript and
it can make your important text appear to be less relevant. - If you use JavaScript, make a separate page for JavaScript and external link to the main page.
Main page will be fast download and small file size.
Dynamic Features
- Spiders can't index dynamic generated URL with symbols (?&) and ID session.
Broken links
